Here we have a replica of the iconic 1974 Porsche RSR, which was built purely for racing. The basis of this RSR was a “long hood” (post 1969, pre 1974 body shell). It was built by Scotty Pheil, the well-known Porsche builder, engineer and racecar driver from the Tampa Bay area in Florida, which is where the car is situated.
This car features a 3.6-liter engine and a G50 gearbox/transmission. The torsion tube was cut and moved in order to make room for this arrangement. Currently, the car is missing its transmission. Price, as is, $55,000.00.
