1973 Porsche RS2.7 Carrera 911 360 0388
One of the nicest looking and driving RS 2.7s that I’ve seen for a long time. This is chassis number 911 360 0388, a Touring version and one of the, oh so important, first batch of 500. It was sold new in France and stayed there for many years. The car was, later on in its life, owned by Philippe Aunay, the Chairman of the Porsche Club of France and with it, he competed in the “Tour de France Auto” many times. Indeed, Monsieur Aunty, whom I knew personally, loved this RS so much that he kept it until he died recently.
At some point the RS has had an exchange gearbox/transmission from the factory but otherwise, it’s a numbers matching car. Restored a few years ago and with a wonderful patina, it is on the button and ready to go.
